Rapper Will.i.am seeks to invest in Israel during Tel Aviv meetings

Black Eyed Peas rapper and producer Will.i.am met with several Israeli start-ups in Tel Aviv on Monday, Globes reported.

Will.i.am, whose actual name is William Adams, has a history of investing in high-tech companies, including his early involvement with the headphone company Beats, which was bought by Apple last week for $3.2 billion.

These start-ups included interactive sheet music app developer Tonara, a crowd-styling fashion platform WiShi, Guster, which is a night life market place, fashion series games developer Fashioholic, and Replay Technologies, which has developed FreeD replays from all angles, according to Globes.

Will.i.am also attended Israeli supermodel Bar Refaeli’s birthday party in Hod Hasharon and performed at a wedding for the daughter of Israeli business tycoon Arcadi Gaydamak in Jerusalem during his visit.
