Egypt uses dangerous missiles near border without Israeli permission

( Egypt has reportedly deployed anti-aircraft and anti-tank missiles near Israel’s border in the Sinai without Israel’s permission.

Israel Radio Arab Affairs analyst Eran Zinger reported that the deployment occurred despite the fact that such equipment is prohibited in the area by the Egypt-Israel peace treaty. “Egypt is trying to change the situation in Sinai,” Zinger said, according to Independent Media Review and Analysis (IMRA).

In addition, Zinger reported that anti-aircraft stinger missiles are showing up in Syria and that the equipment could pose a major threat to the Jewish state.
