Arab violence prompts Tel Aviv schools to cancel trips to Jerusalem

( Amid the recent spate of Arab violence in Jerusalem, the Tel Aviv municipality decided to cancel several school field trips to the Israeli capital, Israel Hayom reported.

The decision was made in response to requests by parents, who voiced concern for the safety of their children. The field trips, originally planned as a bar mitzvah event for eighth graders, would have taken the students to the Western Wall and to Ammunition Hill, where an Arab terrorist rammed a car into a crowd of people last week, killing a 3-month-old girl and a 22-year-old Ecuadorian woman.
