(JNS.org) Four-year-old Israeli girl Adele Biton died from lung-infection complications on Tuesday, two years after she was wounded in a Palestinian rock-throwing attack.

In March 2013 on Route 5 in Samaria, Palestinians threw rocks at a car whose passengers included Biton, her two sisters, and her mother, causing the car to collide with a truck. Adele was critically injured, while her sisters and mother were moderately wounded.

“I fully believed [Adele] would pull through this, but today she got tired,” said Biton’s grandmother, Rahel, according to Israel Hayom.
