According to the Magen David Adom emergency response group, the terrorist first rammed his car into 70-year-old David Ramati, who sustained a light wound to his head. Then, the attacker continued  driving towards the Gush Etzion Junction, where he hit another Israeli man, 35-year-old Evven Ezer Holhering, who sustained a serious brain injury.

Afterwards, the 17-year-old Palestinian terrorist got out of his car and attempted to stab Israeli soldiers. The troops fired at the terrorist and injured him, the IDF said.

Ramati was taken to Jerusalem’s Shaare Zedek Medical Center, and Holhering was brought to Hadassah Hospital Ein Kerem.

According to Israel’s Foreign Ministry, 59 people have been killed and more than 800 have been injured in the wave of Palestinian car-ramming, stabbing and shooting terror attacks that began in September 2015.
