“We need to work outside of our bubble and build a global movement of interfaith groups that understand the needs of working together to end this cycle of hate,” says Sacha Roytman Dratwa, director of a movement called Combat Anti-Semitism.
Since last month, Nick Fuentes and his followers, who call themselves “groypers”—a reference to the cartoon toad that is similar to the alt-right Pepe the Frog—have interrupted conservative events on college campuses.
“Anti-Semitism is central to a wider debate about the kind of country we want to be,” it said. “To ignore it because Brexit looms larger is to declare that anti-Jewish prejudice is a price worth paying for a Labour government.”
“I am focused on British Jewry and the impact in our country,” said Yosef David, a social worker for a large Jewish charity.
The incidents exemplify the spike in anti-Semitic hate crimes in the borough in recent months.

The senator from Vermont accused Trump of “using false allegations” of anti-Semitism to make the U.S.-Israel relationship a divisive issue.
These tragedies teach “how hate can proliferate and erode societies” and serve as a “reminder that the United States must advance global efforts to ensure that barbarism and mass murder never occur again.”
“Putting oneself in the shoes of another person, or another group, can be difficult. But we believe it is important—and urgent—that you do that,” the paper said, citing a recent poll that found 87 percent of British Jews consider Labour Party leader Jeremy Corbyn to be an anti-Semite.
The incidents include an encounter at a station in Brooklyn in which a 26-year-old man allegedly yelled “Heil, Hitler!” and “All Jews must die!”
“What happened here was tragic. The world recognized that; President Trump recognized that and has put a major focus on stamping out anti-Semitism wherever we find it, and supporting the Jewish people and Israel in every way we can,” said U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo.
Police said all of the reports are being investigated by the NYPD’s Hate Crime Task Force.
