The survey, which was conducted from Sept. 11 to Oct. 6 among 1,283 respondents, also found that these views are consistent across age cohorts, Jewish denominations and political affiliations.
Only 35 percent of respondents thought Jew-hatred wasn’t increasing in Germany.

In a campus email, Chancellor Robert Jones wrote: “This exercise was part of a university program created to help students learn to share diverse ideas and perspectives that lead to new understanding. Instead of fostering dialogue, it incited division, distrust and anger.”
“The interconnections of modern anti-Semitism among Islamists, the far-left and the far-right are patently obvious, and [German Chancellor Angela] Merkel offers no program of action to blunt the rise of this highly dangerous form of Jew-hatred,” said Benjamin Weinthal, fellow for the Foundation for Defense of Democracies and an analyst of German politics.
New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo directed the State Police Hate Crimes Task Force to aid in investigating the incident.
