A plan for a hospital, an airport and a brand-new Jewish city in the heartland of the Land of Israel.

Do we adopt it? No.

Why not? Well, because it will be condemned by our friends and foes alike.

My first instinct was to draw a “do-as-I-say-not-as-I-do” cartoon. A cartoon that condemns the double standard that Israel is judged by.

But satisfying as that would have been, I felt the need to focus on the folks we are defying. In the last few days both U.S. President Joe Biden and his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin have each shown us, and the world, what they are capable of doing.
