Today’s cartoon predicts what I think will be the next phase in the battle between Israel’s Supreme Court and Knesset.
But is it a battle between two branches of the government, or between two strong Israelis (Chief Justice Esther Hayut and Prime Minister Benjamin “Bibi” Netanyahu)? I solved that problem (for me, at least) by drawing Hayut and Bibi, but labeling them respectively as “The Supreme Court” and “The Knesset.”
