Media watchdog activist group Committee for Accuracy in Middle East Reporting and Analysis (CAMERA) will celebrate Israel’s 75th anniversary at its annual gala on June 4.
The event, at Pier Sixty on Chelsea Piers in New York City, will include a reception, awards, speeches and dinner.
Speakers will include legal analyst and political commentator Alan Dershowitz; Noa Tishby, former (and first) special envoy for combating antisemitism and the delegitimization of Israel Noa Tishby; and retired British officer Col. Richard Kemp.
CAMERA executive director Andrea Levin said that “it’s an occasion for leaders in the pro-Israel community to assemble and celebrate the marvel of Israel’s existence.”
Levin described CAMERA as open to “all who share our belief in the immeasurable importance of the Jewish state to the world and to the Jewish people.”
She noted the group’s more than 40 years of work, vowing that “we’re committed to continuing for as long as Israel is defamed in the public square.”
