A knife-wielding man yelling “Allahu Akbar” went on a rampage through the business district in Sydney, Australia, on Tuesday. The body of a 21-year-old woman was found near the scene of the incident, and authorities believe the two incidents are connected, according to Australian media.

Three passersby wrestled the man to the ground and pinned him until police arrived and took him into custody, according to a report in The Australian.

The man, who has been named as Mert Ney, 21, is alleged to have murdered one woman and wounded another, age 41, who was hospitalized in stable condition after being stabbed in the back, and to have attempted to stab several other people.

Sydney Police Commissioner Mick Fuller said the attack is not being categorized as a terrorist act at the present time, according to the report.
