Herman Wouk, legendary writer of Jewish sagas and history, dies at age 103
“He really was the Jackie Robinson of Jewish-American fiction,” said Jonathan Karp, president and publisher of Simon & Schuster, and editor of Wouk’s final book, Sailor and Fiddler, which was published in 2015.
