Israel tops birth rate in OECD
Israel is in first place with a birth rate of 2.9, followed by Mexico and France at 1.8. At the bottom of the list is South Korea at 0.7.

The small share of physicians and nurses we train are among the world’s best.” Still, Professor Dan Ben-David of Tel Aviv University points out that “the service they are able to provide is hampered by surrounding work conditions.
