Hezbollah launches rockets at Trump Heights in the Golan

The attack came shortly after Donald Trump's election victory speech in Florida. The town was named after then-President Trump in 2019 following the U.S. recognition of Israeli sovereignty over the Golan Heights.

New Golan neighborhood to be named ‘Trump Heights’

The Israeli cabinet will hold a meeting to establish the cornerstone for the new town, expected to be a mixed secular-religious community.
