(November 24, 2020, New York, JNS Wire) BuiltUp Ventures, an investor in early-stage Israeli proptech companies, has partnered with the Israeli government to present the Virtual International Conference & Exhibition TLV ConTech & PropTech 2020 on November 24-25.
Organized by the Israeli Export Institute (IEI) and the Israeli Foreign Trade Administration at the Ministry of Economy & Industry, the virtual event brings together disruptive startups, industry leaders, experts, and multinational corporations to collaborate and discuss cutting edge products and technologies for the changing real estate industry.
“Technology has become more essential than ever to property owners, developers, managers, and investors, and Israel is one of the world’s leading hubs for startups forming to meet this demand,” said Oded Eliashiv, Principal and Founding Managing Partner of BuiltUp Ventures.
Eliashiv is participating in two panels during the event. “Israel is: Real Estate & Construction Innovation” on November 24th will include Noa Aharoni of the Israel Export & International Cooperation Institute. The second panel, titled “Investments in ConTech & PropTech,” will be held on November 25th.
In addition, BuiltUp Ventures and the IEI are sponsoring the Prop&Contech Innovation Contest during TLV ConTech & PropTech. The virtual competition features six Israeli companies presenting to an international judging panel that includes Toby Moskovits, CEO of Heritage Equity Partners; Perry Finkelman, Partner and Managing Director of American Development Group; Alexander Vanderhey, Director at Vanderhey Holdings; Matt Silk, CEO of TMW Capital; Jocelyn Underwood, Founder of Sider Road, LLC; Jonathan Ofek, Head of Construction Innovation at the Israeli Ministry of Construction and Housing; and Oded Eliashiv, Principal of BuiltUp Ventures. Participants are evaluated for creativity, technological innovation, functionality, company performance, and other criteria.
