#EndJewHatred statement following NYPD action at Columbia University

Failure to impose consequences on Jew-hatred allows antisemitism to become ingrained in society.

The #EndJewHatred movement issued the following statement in response to the New York City Police Department (NYPD) taking action to remove pro-Palestinian protestors from Columbia University:

“#EndJewHatred expects that all the anarchists will be removed from campus and there will continue to be multiple arrests. These protestors are the only ones responsible for what happens. Their blind Jew-hatred has led to this.

“We also hold responsible Columbia president [Minouche] Shafik for failing to deal with this back in October 2023. Now, [New York] District Attorney Alvin Bragg must ensure that these individuals are prosecuted to the full extent of the law instead of a mere slap on the wrist. The failure to impose consequences on Jew-hatred only allows antisemitism to become more ingrained in our society and across our schools.

“We expect that colleges and police departments across the country will follow the example laid out tonight and liberate campuses from the oppressive occupations that we are seeing.”

#EndJewHatred is an international grassroots civil rights movement that unites ordinary people, activists and organizations from around the world who support the cause that defines the movement: to end Jew-hatred in our lifetime. It does so by altering public discourse to make Jew-hatred unacceptable in society, while empowering Jews with positivity and strength to discover and enjoy their heritage in whichever manner they choose, without fear of attack or persecution.
