IZZY-Stream Israel, the leading international streaming platform for Israeli content, announces the addition of subtitles in French, Spanish and Portuguese for more than 100 titles. This strategic expansion aims to make Israeli storytelling and culture more accessible to a broader global audience, furthering IZZY’s mission to connect viewers worldwide with the rich and diverse storytelling emerging from Israel.

The newly subtitled content includes leading titles such as the special Oct. 7 war-time episodes of “Facts/Uvda,” Israel’s leading investigative show; the exclusive documentary episodes of “Heroes,” which highlights the acts of bravery; and “Screams Before Silence,” the acclaimed documentary led by Sheryl Sandberg that explores the sexual violence perpetrated by Hamas during the Oct. 7 terrorist attacks on Israel.

Acclaimed dramas in the new language offering include series such as “Shtisel,” “The Women’s Balcony,” “The Chef” and “Unsilenced.” Notable movies include “War and Peace” and “Rescue Bus 300,” docu-drama films recounting the heroic rescue operations of true story hijacking terror attacks, and “Between Worlds,” a film about a religious woman reconnecting with her estranged, secular son at the hospital after he’s severely injured in a stabbing. Also available is a selection of IZZY’s top documentaries, including “Golda” and “Under the Iron Dome,” which explores Israel’s game-changing missile-defense system.

Since Oct. 7 and the outbreak of war, global attention on Israel has surged, with viewers seeking authentic, comprehensive content to understand these pivotal events. In response, IZZY has seen its subscriptions double since October as people turn to the platform for its timely documentaries that delve deep into the Oct. 7 events.

Nati Dinnar, CEO of IZZY, said: “With the addition of French, Spanish and Portuguese subtitles, IZZY reaffirms its commitment to cultural diversity and accessibility, ensuring that the power of Israeli storytelling reaches an even wider audience. This answers the numerous requests from around the world to add subtitles in more languages so that more people with a passion for Israel can connect with its storytelling and culture. At a time when global focus on Israel is more intense than ever, it’s vital that people around the world have the opportunity to experience Israeli content firsthand.”
