Odem Mountain Winery in Israel’s northern Golan Heights has made history as the first Israeli winery ever invited to participate in James Suckling’s “Great Wines World New York,” one of the wine industry’s most prestigious global tasting events. The event is scheduled to take place on June 11-12 at the iconic Glasshouse venue in New York City.
Hosted by renowned wine critic James Suckling, “Great Wines World” features a curated selection of top-tier wines from around the globe, each rated 92 points or higher by the JamesSuckling.com editorial team. The event offers a walk-around tasting experience, drawing wine professionals, connoisseurs, and enthusiasts from across the industry.

Represented in the United States by Royal Wine Corp, the leading producer, importer, and exporter of kosher wines, Odem Mountain Winery is celebrated for crafting exceptional wines that reflect the unique terroir of its region. At the New York event, Odem Mountain will present two standout labels:
- Odem Mountain Special Edition Alfasi, the winery’s flagship wine
- Odem Mountain Reserve Nebbiolo
Founded in 2003, Odem Mountain released its first kosher vintage in 2007. The family-run winery, nestled in a lush forest, is operated by the Alfasi family. Winemaker Adam Alfasi will attend the New York tasting to introduce his family’s wines to the international audience.
The “Great Wines World” events are held annually across the United States and Asia, attracting over 20,000 attendees each year. Known for their high energy and festive atmosphere—often compared to a “rock concert of wine,”—these events provide a rare opportunity to meet and mingle with the world’s leading winemakers.
