Hosted by Fleishigs Magazine duo Shifra and Shlomo Klein, GLATT explores the multifaceted world of kosher. GLATT will cover everything from cooking tips and hosting ideas to restaurant reviews and kosher travel. Video episodes will premiere exclusively on Kosher.com as part of a vibrant collaboration designed to bring the rich culture of kosher cuisine to a broader audience.
“The partnership between Fleishigs magazine and Kosher.com is a natural fit,” says Shifra Klein. “We’re both dedicated to showcasing the best that kosher has to offer and to bringing people together through food. It’s a collaboration that just makes sense.”
“We are excited to bring the GLATT podcast to our Kosher.com audience and beyond as Kosher.com is known for bringing the world together through food,” says Goldy Guttman, director of Kosher.com.
With a shared mission to elevate kosher cuisine and bring food lovers together, the GLATT podcast is set to become a premier resource for those passionate about the expanding world of kosher food.
The inaugural episode will feature Raizy Fried from Raizyscooking, followed by an episode with Rachel Edry from Ofakim, Israel. Upcoming episodes will highlight notable guests such as Benjy Haimoff, founder of the popular Smashhouse meat franchise; and private chefs Mendy Wolf and Hillie Ackerman.
To celebrate this exciting launch, a group of renowned chefs, media personalities and culinary experts came together for a Chefs of the Round Table dinner. Hosted at Kosher.com headquarters, this exclusive event featured an intimate, 11-course tasting menu prepared by top kosher private chefs, showcasing the pinnacle of kosher culinary artistry.
The evening’s menu was crafted with premium ingredients provided by sponsors Tuscanini and Marble & Grain, both recognized for their commitment to quality and innovation in kosher food. As event time approached, the Kosher.com kitchen buzzed with activity as chefs readied their stations under the guidance of chef Alegra Hadriye, who managed the evening’s meticulous execution.
The distinguished lineup of chefs included: Shmuly Kohn, Michelle Soussan, Yitz Spitz, Ayshel Ashkenazi, Avi Katz, Yosef Safdieh, Hudi Riven, Hillie Ackerman, Hillel Braun, Mendy Wolf and Effy Friedman.
As each course was served, each chef took a moment to introduce themselves and their creation, with Wolf, a founder of Chefs of the Round Table, serving as master of ceremonies. Gabriel Geller, director of PR and advertising and the wine-education manager for Royal Wine Corp., curated 11 wines to complement each course.
“Each chef displayed remarkable attention to detail, and their careful selection of ingredients really shined,” notes Elisheva Taitz, editor of Fleishigs magazine.
