Multiple authoritative sources have ranked the “All About Change” podcast, which amplifies and inspires activism by featuring in-depth and intimate conversations with individuals from all walks of life who are changing the world, as one of the most popular podcasts in the United States.

The podcast — hosted by Jay Ruderman, President of the Boston-based Ruderman Family Foundation — shares stories of adversity where people have come out the other side ready to better themselves, their communities, and the world. Ultimately, it is a show about hope and activism.

In the leading platforms that measure the reach of podcasts, All About Change now comes in #23 in the country on the Podcharts, #18 among the top podcasts on Apple, and #5 in Apple’s Society and Culture category. Launched in 2018, the All About Change podcast has climbed the ranks being featured as one of the New and Noteworthy podcasts by Apple.

Spotlighting a host of inspiring individuals from an array of different industries, championing causes across the spectrum, episodes have included conversations with five-time NBA All-Star Kevin Love, discussing his contributions to reduce the stigma associated with mental health; U.S. Special Envoy for Monitoring and Combating Antisemitism Deborah Lipstadt, on combatting antisemitism; actor, archer and advocate, Geena Davis, about the crucial role Hollywood has to play in promoting women’s rights around the globe; and many more.

“As one of the only podcasts that celebrates activism in all its forms, All About Change encourages listeners to embrace their personal power and take tangible steps toward making a difference,” Jay Ruderman said. “On the surface, the average person may not consider themselves an ‘activist.’ Yet hearing from successful changemakers, especially those who have overcome adversity along their journey, can empower each and every one of us to dig deep and identify the unique ways in which we can change the world for better.”

Most recently, All About Change has spotlighted the stories of Katie Barnes shaping the debate on sports and gender identity; Emily Penn combating ocean pollution; Jean Wiener revitalizing Haiti’s coastlines; Lek Chailert rescuing Asian elephants; Genesis Butler amplifying youth activism; Noa Tishby exposing the danger of antisemitism; and Evon Benson-Idahosa taking a stand against gender-based violence.

Ruderman also emphasized that the podcast’s lineup of guests is intentionally diverse.

“You don’t need to agree with every opinion you hear on the podcast or be aligned with every form of advocacy described by our guests,” he said. “You just need to be open to hearing diverse stories of people advocating for social change — personal stories that have shaped activism.”
