The New Jersey Department of Education’s Office of Career Readiness has appoints Orthodox Jewish Chamber of Commerce founder Duvi Honig to its statewide advisory committee for finance, business administration and marketing programs.
The advisory committee will help inform and guide educational programming and a curriculum statewide in the Career and Technical Education (CTE) program. Learners in these programs gain new opportunities to earn industry-valued credentials, college credit and workplace experiences incorporating a rigorous academic core coupled with a high-level technical curriculum preparing students for college and for the workforce.
The Office of Career Readiness is designed to share leadership tactics to advance innovative and performance-driven educational opportunities for students. The methodology aims at promoting equity and excellence for all participants to become productive members of a global society.
The Orthodox Jewish Chamber of Commerce has long supported districts on a united mission to ensure all New Jersey students have equitable access to high-quality career and technical education
