Democratic Majority for Israel and the Republican Jewish Coalition named additional choices in races this cycle for the Senate and U.S. House of Representatives.

RJC announced on Tuesday support for Scott Baugh, the opponent of Democratic state Sen. Dave Min, in a race for an open seat representing California’s 47th Congressional District. The group also endorsed four incumbents: Sen. Deb Fischer (R-Neb.), Reps. Monica De La Cruz (R-Texas), Brian Fitzpatrick (R-Pa.) and Young Kim (R-Calif.).

“We’ve endorsed 50 House candidates and 15 Senate candidates, prioritizing the races that will be decisive in determining party control,” stated Norm Colemen, RJC national chairman. “All of our endorsed candidates are rock-solid in support of Israel’s security.”

He said that “all of our endorsed candidates also understand that antisemitism is a real and growing threat in our country. They will support accountability for institutions, such as universities and city governments, that can’t or won’t protect Jews from violent antisemites.”

DMFI endorsed challengers in four congressional races, announcing support for Peter Barca in Wisconsin, Missy Cotter Smasal in Virginia, Whitney Fox in Florida and Herb Conaway in New Jersey.

“With enthusiasm for Kamala Harris surging, Democrats have a path to take back the majority from extreme MAGA Republicans in the House,” said DMFI chairman Mark Mellman, referring to the current vice president and Democratic presidential candidate.

“As Israel continues to fight a multifront defensive war,” he added, “these candidates have been clear that in Congress they will ensure that America always has Israel’s back.”
