“Anti-BDS legislation is about commercial activities, not about people’s ability to speak,” says the 33-year-old. “People are free to criticize Israel; that is a protected right. But organized boycotting and divestment with the support of state, local or federal government is not acceptable.”
Jewish groups from both sides of the aisle unwaveringly condemned the chaos on Capitol Hill, with Democratic and liberal groups blaming the president for inciting the violence. Conservative Jewish groups focused on the breakdown of the rule of law, which they vociferously lamented.

She said Gators for Israel, the University of Florida pro-Israel group, has included one in a package it is sending to her office on Capitol Hill.
The newly installed legislator feels that “we’ve lost our way and haven’t taught our kids very well.”
The United States blocked Iran from $119.54 million in assets in 2019, a $12.13 million increase from the previous year, and blocked Syria from $36.17 million in assets, a $1.1 million increase from 2018.
The incoming House member says of the media and bias: “You need the full perspective on a story; sometimes, that may be missing. Making sure that everybody understands the full context of what they’re reporting on—the relationships between countries and history.”
American Jewish groups from both sides of the aisle have invested heavily in the Jan. 5 runoffs, as they see stark differences on the candidates’ policies on topics such as the U.S.-Israel relationship, the Iran nuclear deal, anti-Semitism and more.
He expressed concern about the BDS movement against Israel, saying he’s “always been disheartened by any type of anti-Semitic movement or attitudes that exist.”
