Eliana Rudee is a journalist and marketing professional based in Seattle. She spent nearly a decade working as a journalist in Israel, focusing on global Jewry and culinary arts. She is a trained culinary tour guide of Jerusalem, has led culinary workshops and retreats, and has written several digital cookbooks on the intersection of food, culture and Jewish peoplehood.

“The purpose is to fill that gap by providing the first-ever examination of claims made under Item 7, and to provide a detailed analysis, citing to sources of fact and international law,” said researcher and writer Dina Rovner.
Israel maintains full diplomatic relations with all the countries of Central and South America and the Caribbean region (with the exception of Cuba, Bolivia and Venezuela), and in recent years, pro-Israel Latin American influencers, both Jewish and non-Jewish, have further transformed the relationship.

Participants from the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Morocco and Saudi Arabia joined viewers from North America, Europe and Israel in more personal kind of diplomacy.
“I tell my girls, everything we do is in the name of Israel,” said Ira Vigdorchik. “You can only be an Olympic champion if you feel you are part of your country. Everything we are doing is for the flag of Israel.”
The services are jointly sponsored with local Jewish youth groups such as BBYO, B’nei Akiva and partners in Israel.
Drs. Avital Beck and Hadas Shatz-Azouly—scientists, mothers, entrepreneurs and founders of the company MilkStrip—understand firsthand the challenges of owning a business while raising six and five children, respectively.
Rabbi Dr. Elie Abadie hopes to establish a “fully-fledged community” with services, synagogues, lectures, weddings, schools, social services and a kashrut-certifying agency and more.
Israel has committed to bring in the last wave of immigration—those who currently reside in Addis Ababa, the Ethiopian capital, and in Gondar in the northern part of the African country.
“As we go to elections again, it is important for olim to sound their voices and the diversity they bring with them, informing decision-makers of issues that must be addressed,” she says.
A new joint project focuses on people-to-people encounters with activists and professionals representing academia, art, literature, politics, education, activism and the hospitality industry.
It joins a network that mobilizes support for Israel based on shared Judeo-Christian values, a movement that the Israel Allies Foundation calls “faith-based diplomacy.”
