Palestinian terrorists jailed at Ketziot Prison in southern Israel were made to repaint the walls of their cells after pro-Palestinian writings were discovered, the Israel Prison Service announced on Monday.

Some of the writings discovered in the cells read, “We will not forget, we will not forgive, we will not kneel,” “Jerusalem is Arab,” “The patience of Jerusalem doesn’t last long” and “This is the time of the dogs (the Jews).”

At the orders of Ketziot Prison Commander Menachem Bibas, the Initial Reaction Force, together with other guards, “enforced a determined and uncompromising prison administration,” the IPS stated.

The terrorists suspected of having written the anti-Israel incitement were punished and placed in solitary confinement, the statement added.

Ketziot, located in the Negev region, is the Jewish state’s largest prison facility. The prison has 28 wings for terrorists and is also used to jail security prisoners pending trial, as well as administrative detainees.

“Proud of the IPS!” Otzma Yehudit Party leader Itamar Ben-Gvir, who oversaw the body as Israel’s national security minister from late 2022 until he quit the government last month, tweeted on Monday night.

“At the orders of prison Commander Menachem Bibas, the Initial Reaction Force and prison guards broke into the cells, forcing them to get down on their knees and paint the wall,” he added.

In March last year, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu delivered an urgent directive for all government bodies to prepare prisons for an influx of thousands of terrorists expected to be arrested throughout the year.

The directive came after the Israel Defense Forces and Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet) presented their assessment that in 2024, thousands of terrorists in Judea, Samaria and the Gaza Strip would be detained.

“If Michigan Hillel wants to remain the center of Jewish life on campus, it cannot retreat from one of the central and challenging parts of being Jewish there,” Seth Mendel, of CAMERA, told JNS.
Three other soldiers were lightly wounded when the military vehicle overturned.
Mohammad Shalabi was charged with preparing to commit a terrorist act of murder and receiving training for terrorist purposes.
The Palestinian planted the IEDs near the ceasefire line in attempt to harm Israeli soldiers, the army said.
