As long as supremacism, terror and hate rule Palestinian Arab society, there will be no end to the conflict.
It is painfully clear to anyone paying attention how the mainstream media, social media and those who wish to destroy Israel are exploiting the death of Abu Akleh to attack Israel.
Both were heroes. Both shouldn’t have needed to be heroes.
Just as Putin believes Ukraine has no right to exist as an independent state, so haters of Israel are convinced the Jewish state has no right to exist.
The truth is that the “obstacle to peace” in the Arab-Israeli conflict before 1967 (before there were any “occupied territories”) is the same obstacle that since 1937 has caused every Palestinian Arab leader to reject six different peace and partition plans that would have created the first independent Arab state west of the Jordan River.
Many of the same progressives who defend “The Squad” keep telling us that “silence is violence” and “silence is complicity.” They’re right. If only they would take their own words to heart.
We must fight against this assault on the truth and assault on morality as if our lives depend on it. Because, ultimately, they do.
