Elazar Stern’s comments come after party and opposition leader Yair Lapid said that joining a unity government would “ruin the country.”
“It is our duty to build on them and widen the circle of peace—regionally and globally—through these meetings of the Abrahamic faiths to send a clear message of reconciliation, acceptance and inclusion,” said Israeli Minister of Intelligence Elazar Stern.
“Many threats know no boundaries and don’t care about a person or a community’s nationality, religion, ethnicity or gender,” emphasized Elazar Stern.
