A senior U.N. official told JNS there have been ongoing discussions for a year-and-a-half between the global body and Israel to develop a plan to reduce violations and explain actions.
“Antisemitism doesn’t just threaten Jewish Americans. It threatens all Americans, and our fundamental democratic values,” the U.S. president said.
“I should not have to be my only ally against antisemitism at school,” said Oron, an eighth-grade student.

An initial inquiry suggested, “at a minimum,” gross negligence, said the superintendent of East Brunswick Public Schools.
“We should not descend to this chaos and allow any tolerance for this disgusting, abhorrent behavior,” says Gov. Kathy Hochul.
At the end of 2023, the Muslim population of Israel was estimated at 1.782 million, (18.1% of all residents).

While calling antisemitism “an assault on our values as Americans and especially as progressives,” the New York congresswoman accused “political actors” of “weaponizing” Jew-hatred.
“Northwestern’s capitulation to its antisemitic encampment and its impeding of the committee’s oversight are unbecoming of a leading university,” wrote Rep. Virginia Foxx.
The student protesters had set up an “unlawful encampment” on campus, complete with “wooden shields and water-filled barriers,” according to police.
