Chants at the demonstration included “Disclose, divest, we will not stop, we will not rest. Disclose, divest” and “Let Gaza live.”
Jason Holtzman of the local Jewish Community Relations Council told JNS that people should “speak out to show that there is zero tolerance for these behaviors and actions.”

The International March of the Living will hold two significant marches in May under the banner “Together We Remember.”
“If these were just dancing pizza parties, as the ridiculous headline would have us believe, then Columbia wouldn’t have taken the extraordinary steps of calling in the NYPD,” said Jonah Cohen, of CAMERA.
It comes in the wake of threats, harassment, intimidation and discrimination against Jewish students at the public institution.
Michael Rosenzweig, a new member of the board of directors at the Democratic Majority for Israel, told JNS about his views on rising antisemitism in academia, particularly at his alma mater.
“It is time for forceful action on all levels,” said Stuart Eizenstat, chair of the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum.
The 41-year-old “threatened dozens of victims, many of whom were Jewish or were perceived to be Jewish,” per the U.S. Justice Department.
“These protesters belong in jail,” said Texas Gov. Greg Abbott. “Students joining in hate-filled, antisemitic protests at any public college or university in Texas should be expelled.”
“These pro-Hamas rioters have effectively shut down college campuses and have literally chased Jewish students away from our schools,” the senators wrote.
