Amir Dianat, 55, and Kamran Lajmiri, 42, were charged with allegedly violating U.S. export laws and sanctions against Iran in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia.
Amir Dianat has allegedly been involved in developing illicit business opportunities to generate revenue for Tehran’s Quds Force.
“The post I shared on Facebook was actually from a friend who is Jewish,” said Pamela Hornberger (R-Chesterfield). “Today, when I was made aware of the controversy, I immediately deleted the post.”
