Lt. Col. (res.) Maurice Hirsch

Lt. Col. (res.) Maurice Hirsch, a former IDF Director of Military Prosecution for Judea and Samaria, is a leading expert on Palestinian incitement and legal strategies. He currently serves as head of legal strategies at Palestinian Media Watch and directs the Initiative for Palestinian Authority Accountability and Reform at the Jerusalem Center for Public Affairs. Hirsch has also advised Israel’s Ministry of Defense and chaired an advisory committee in the Ministry of Interior. A passionate advocate for Israel, he regularly provides expert analysis in the media to expose bias and misinformation.

In its recent report on the P.A. financial crisis, the World Bank shamefully absolves the P.A. of fiscal responsibility.
The underlying message of the U.S.-sponsored summit in Manama exposes the fact that the P.A. and PLO no longer represent the interests of the Palestinians.
Using the aid previously provided to UNRWA, the countries that have hosted the Palestinian refugees for over 70 years must finally integrate them.
P.A. leader Mahmoud Abbas has decided to plunge the P.A. economy into the abyss rather than stop payments to terrorists. France, the EU and UN are all pressuring Israel to give in to Abbas’s blackmail.
If Hamas knew that in return for every cross-border explosive fired, 50 or 100 of its members would be targeted, there is no question that they would think twice before ordering an attack on Israel.
A fundamental stipulation and Palestinian commitment of the Oslo peace process was to abandon the use of violence as a means to achieve the Palestinian goal of self-determination.
As a result of immense international pressure threatening to cut off a vast amount of aid to the Palestinian Authority, it was Abbas who deposed the democratically elected Hamas terrorist organization.
The time has come to penalize the Palestinian Authority for its rewarding and incentivizing of terrorism.
