Rabbi Mendy Cohen is co-director of Chabad of Sacramento with his wife, Dinie. They have launched 13 other Chabad Houses in the Sacramento area since 1994. Before moving to California, the rabbi studied Jewish thought and practice in Montreal, New York and Jerusalem. He is a rabbinic judge (dayan) and has published a book on Jewish law.
