House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries plans to meet with the Democratic mayoral candidate this week.

The invitation “symbolizes the U.S. and Israel’s enduring relationship,” congressional leaders said.
“President Biden’s comprehensive proposal sets the stage for a just and lasting peace between Israel and the Palestinian people,” Hakeem Jeffries stated.
As a bipartisan group of members of Congress spoke, chants broke out of “USA,” “Never Again” and “Bring them home.”
