During a Friday sermon at the Islamic Center of South Florida (ICOSF) in Pompano Beach, Fla., Imam Hasan Sabri said the establishment of Israel was a “sad comedy” carried out by the superpowers of the time “because they wanted the Muslims themselves to be humiliated.”

According to Imam Sabri, nothing would be achieved through the peace process. “Palestine, Al-Aqsa and Jerusalem have one path and one way to be liberated, and that is the way of Saladin, and the way of Omar ibn Al-Khattab,” he said.

The sermon, delivered on April 13, was posted on the official ICOSF YouTube channel.

The Jewish, Italian, Irish and British “pioneers and people who built this city” want Bible-based American values, the Israeli consul general in New York told JNS. “They don’t want the Sharia laws.”
“We will work with you to guarantee the American people full transparency about how their tax dollars are being funneled to—and spent by—this organization,” Reps. Gregory Meeks and Jamie Raskin wrote to Washington’s top diplomat.
“We were extremely proud to see this work come to fruition,” Shay Salamon, executive director of Latin American affairs at Combat Antisemitism Movement, told JNS.
The Irgun vessel will serve as a “tangible symbol” of the imperative to never descend into civil war, the Israeli premier said.
