The Israeli military is investigating as a terror attack a vehicular assault that occurred in Samaria on Saturday.

“A Palestinian vehicle accelerated towards a police car and collided with it, there were no casualties,” said the Israel Defense Forces.

The incident occurred at a gas station outside the town of Eli in Samaria’s Binyamin Region. The station has been the scene of repeated acts of terrorism against Israelis.

“Troops caught the terrorist and transferred him to security forces for further investigation,” said the IDF.

On Sunday, three Israeli police officers were killed in a drive-by shooting near the Tarqumiya checkpoint, some 7.5 miles northwest of Hebron in Judea.
