The U.S. attorney general decried “threats of hate whenever and wherever they occur” on the anniversary of Hamas’s Oct. 7 terror attack.
“The indictment filed in the United States is based, among other things, on evidence compiled in Israel and given to the American investigators, while 11 months have passed and there are no indictments” in Israel, said a police source.
“‘The Palestine Chronicle’ and People Media Project appear to be at the very least complicit in supporting Hamas,” a letter from the House leaders stated.
Oct. 7 renewed a familiar sense of fear and isolation for Jews everywhere.
“The idea that someone with my family background would discriminate against any religion is so outrageous—so absurd!” Merrick Garland said on Sept. 20.
In his new role, Eli Rosenbaum will lead a War Crimes Accountability team comprised of DOJ employees who are experts in investigations involving human-rights abuses and war crimes.
The 68-year-old, who is Jewish, currently serves on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit.
