The legislation, which comes in Jewish American Heritage Month, would expand the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum’s education programming to teachers nationwide.
They are also advocating inclusion of $12 million, matched by Israel, to fund new research partnerships in any future legislation to address the impact of the coronavirus pandemic.
Like the original letter, the latest version was drafted by Sens. Chris Van Hollen (D-Md.), Tim Kaine (D-Va.) and Chris Murphy (D-Conn.).
