WATCH: Herzog addresses UN General Assembly on Holocaust Remembrance Day

This year’s commemoration marks the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz.

Israeli President Isaac Herzog is delivering an address to the United Nations General Assembly’s annual session in observance of International Holocaust Memorial Day on Monday.

This year’s commemoration marks the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz.

“It was almost half Jewish,” David Herszenson, a physician and tour guide, told a group on a walking tour. “The south Bronx was majority Jewish for a while.”
“We’re very proud Jews. We want to live like proud Jews,” a Toronto-area father told JNS.
“Prior to the strikes, steps were taken to mitigate harm to civilians, including the use of precise munitions and aerial surveillance,” the army said.
The concern in the P.A. was that running separately might have led Hadash, Balad and Ta’al to each fall short of the 3.25% threshold of votes needed to enter the Knesset.
