Continuing Charlie Kirk’s fight for free speech

WATCH: “The Quad” with Fleur Hassan-Nahoum

The murder of 31-year-old Charlie Kirk, a conservative activist and the founder of Turning Point USA, places a permanent stain on the face of U.S. society.

This episode of “The Quad” explores what Charlie stood for: the conviction that free speech must be defended, particularly in democracies. Even when individuals or parties disagree with the subject matter and language used, Americans should be allowed to use them.

What does the world become when talk turns into violence?

But make no mistake: Bullets kill people, but they do not kill legacies. Kirk’s mission lives on in every young person who dares to think differently, and in every student and citizen who chooses not to be silent when there is an injustice on their minds.

This is more than a eulogy. It’s a call to carry the torch.
