A new assessment by Alma Center finds that Hezbollah’s advanced conventional weapons arsenal includes cruise missiles.
A military source says that given the concern over Iranian suicide drones, air defenses engaged in full. It is unclear why the target was not intercepted; the military is reviewing the incident.

In an interview on an Iran-based Arabic-language TV channel, the Hezbollah chief also said that Israeli drone flights over Lebanon have ceased “due to the superiority of Hezbollah’s air defenses.”
“Lebanon has been out of the economic waters game for a long time. The Syrians have ‘taken a bite’ from gas reserves to the north—and the maritime border between Syria and Lebanon has never been finalized,” Maj. (res.) Tal Beeri tells JNS.
“Hezbollah, with Iran’s support, is undermining the ability to stabilize Lebanon,” says Israeli Defense Minister Benny Gantz.

Lt. Col. Ofer Tchorz of the 74th tank battalion said the exercise simulated combat against Hezbollah in Lebanon, in which the battalion would have to navigate hilly terrain and take on a heavily armed enemy that uses guerilla warfare tactics and fights out of populated areas.
U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken: “It is clear Hezbollah and its associates are more concerned with advancing their own interests and those of their patron, Iran, than the interests of the Lebanese people.”
Among the images were pictures of the drone’s operators engaged in a training exercise, according to the Israeli military.
The U.N. force has called on Lebanese authorities to “investigate quickly and thoroughly, and prosecute all those responsible.”
