Israeli Ambassador to the United Nations Gilad Erdan spoke out about the philanthropic priorities of 93-year-old George Soros, the longtime bankroller of left-wing activists and progressive Democrat politicians.

In response to research that $15 million from Soros has gone to groups that are organizing pro-Hamas protests around the country, Erdan told Fox News: “George Soros’ donations to organizations that seek the destruction of the State of Israel as a Jewish state is shameful. However, I am not surprised.”

He added that “for years, Soros has backed and transferred money to organizations supporting BDS that want to isolate Israel. … They have never been about real peace or any solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.”

Of the activist funds provided through Soros’s networks, $13.7 million came through the Tides Center. Anti-Israel groups receiving grants included Jewish Voice for Peace and IfNotNow, which both received hundreds of thousands of dollars.
