The End Jew Hatred Movement announced “emergency rallies” on April 17 at Columbia University in New York City and April 18 at Rutgers University in Newark, N.J. Those planning on attending the Columbia rally include Shai Davidai, an assistant professor at Columbia Business School, and influencer and pro-Israel activist Lizzy Savetsky.

“It is critical that the End Jew Hatred Movement come out and be heard loud and clear by both Columbia and Rutgers universities—enough is enough,” Michelle Ahdoot, the movement’s director of programming and strategy, told JNS. “Both institutions must take action to protect Jewish students on campus.”

“It is absolutely unacceptable to allow Jew-hatred to continue to be ignored, which is why we are calling for systemic change, accountability and consequences for any groups or individuals who participate in pro-Hamas hate,” Ahdoot added.

Ahdoot called for “civil-rights activism together with strategic legal action to enforce our legal rights,” saying such efforts were “urgently needed to eliminate the hateful bigotry we face.”
