Rabbi Ephraim Mirvis, the chief rabbi of Great Britain, has suggested that Jews take on an extra mitzvah in the merit of the hostages.
He also took aim at the government and its Foreign Terrorist List, which includes Hezbollah and Hamas, asking why Israel isn’t on it along with Arab groups that have murdered Canadians.
Shimon Koffler Fogel, president and CEO of the Centre for Israel and Jewish Affairs, said Khaled Barakat addressing a multiple-day event is “a clear violation of the city’s policies meant to protect religious, national and ethnic groups from hate and incitement.”
Rabbi Moshe and Miriam Moskovitz have guided the city’s Jewish community for 30 years.
“Our job as adults is to share adequate information with children and to help them assimilate the information in terms they understand,” said Rabbi Dovid Fox.

“It’s no mistake; it’s no slip of the tongue. It’s passive-aggressive anti-Semitic behavior,” said the Jewish Federation of the Bluegrass.
