Danny Danon

‎‎"Even as it continues to pay salaries to terrorists every month, encourage ‎violence and lead an unrelenting campaign of incitement against Israel, ‎the Palestinian Authority has the audacity to ask the Security Council to ‎recognize it as a full member state of the United Nations,” said Israel’s Ambassador to the United Nations Danny Danon.
Ambassador to the United Nations Danny Danon was the first Israeli envoy to be appointed to head the U.N. Legal Committee and served as vice president of the General Assembly on behalf of Western states.
U.S. officials blasted Palestinian violence in the wake of a terror attack that targeted eight people on Sunday night, the last night of Hanukkah.
The fruits of this labor were on display this week when the U.N. General Assembly considered a U.S.-sponsored resolution condemning the Palestinian terrorist group Hamas for the first time. The resolution received strong support, especially from Israel’s allies in Europe and elsewhere.
“We hope she will continue in the path of Ambassador Nikki Haley as a strong supporter of Israel, calling out the bias against it within the U.N. system, and pointing to Iran as a major source of global instability,” said B’nai B’rith International CEO Daniel Mariaschin.
In remarks just before what is one of her final acts as U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley told her fellow members that the resolution could mark “a historic day” or just “another day.”
With the support of 137 member states, the resolution was adopted in the U.N. Second Committee on Development, urging countries to enable future generations to create solutions to worldwide problems.
“There is Hamas that attacks and fires over 460 missiles at civilians, and there is Israel that protects its people,” said Israeli Ambassador to the United Nations Danny Danon. “The Security Council must condemn Hamas for its aggressive assault and finally designate it as a terrorist organization.”
“The circus of Bolivian hypocrisy continues,” said Israeli Ambassador to the United Nations Danny Danon. “Bolivia ‎tramples women’s rights and invites the head of an ‎anti-Israel group to speak at the U.N., all while ‎talking about women’s rights and peace.”

Danon: ‘Abbas has led his people down a path of self-destruction and misery’
Displaying a Palestinian Authority textbook for the current year, Israeli Ambassador to the United Nations Danny Danon said “this is Abbas’s culture of hate—right in front of you. This is the reason Palestinian schoolchildren learn that it is better to kill a Jew than keep a job.”
Israel slammed the PX Commission of the Executive Board of UNESCO as it adopted resolutions titled “Occupied Palestine,” which declared the tombs of Jewish ancestors integral parts of “Occupied Palestinian territory.”
The exhibit contains before and after photos of nature reserves, fields and agricultural lands before and after being attacked by Gazans who have launched hundreds of flying arson weapons into Israel.
