Addressing Israeli commanders in Gaza’s Khan Yunis, IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Herzi Halevi called the hostages’ return “a top priority.”

Hamas has ceased to function as a terror group in “most parts” of the Gaza Strip, the defense minister said.
“My son has been taken hostage by the State of Israel,” his mother said.
“Unfortunately, in the last day there was a tragic case of our forces unintentionally hitting innocent people in the Gaza Strip.”
A delegation led by the Mossad, Shin Bet and IDF is due back from Cairo.
