A new restaurant is preparing to open in Khan Yunis, Gaza, named “Nova Café,” in an apparent praise of the massacre that took place at the Nova Music Festival during the Hamas-led invasion of southern Israel on Oct. 7, 2023, Israel Hayom reported on Sunday.

Terrorists from Gaza murdered 378 people at the festival in total.

“While decent people are still mourning [the Nova victims]... Palestinians in Gaza are opening a restaurant celebrating the massacre,” tweeted the Israeli Foreign Ministry.

“Gazans are perpetuating hate, commercializing horror, glorifying terror and erasing humanity,” it added.

The restaurant is on al-Rasheed Street, which runs along the Strip’s seafront, directly on the beach, according to Israel Hayom.

It features several dining rooms with numerous seating areas that face the sea, the report added.

The Nova festival was held a few miles from the central Gaza Strip border. The Palestinian city of Khan Yunis is located in the southern Gaza Strip.

The massacre at the Nova festival became one of the symbols of the Oct. 7, 2023, atrocities, and is still claiming lives.

Roei Shalev, a festival survivor, committed suicide on Friday, a little over two years after his girlfriend and best friend were murdered in the terrorist attack.

The Nova Tribe Community Association, which supports bereaved families and survivors, said Shalev “was one of the pillars in our community, and his passing is an incomprehensible loss,” adding,

“We share our deepest condolences to his family, his friends, and all members of the community who are grieving this immense loss.”

More than 40 festival attendees were taken hostage into Gaza.

In total, Hamas-led terrorists murdered approximately 1,200 people, wounded thousands and took 251 hostages that day.
