An all-Jewish lineup of comedians looks to raise funds for Ukrainian performing artists.
“Jackie Mason was in a league of his own,” said the 50-year-old comedian. “I don’t care how decent some other guys are today, there will never be anyone like him.”
“They see me as today’s comedian. Thank God, I stunk for such a long time and was invisible, so I could be discovered,” said the rabbi-turned-funnyman in 1988 of his comeback.
