Amb. Michael Oren: Biden is involved in a blood libel against Israel

“The Quad,” Ep. 23

Following the mistaken bombing of the World Central Kitchen aid convoy and the resulting deaths of seven workers, a dramatic shift in U.S. policy towards Israel has taken place, with U.S. President Joe Biden calling for an immediate ceasefire, a pullout of Israeli troops from the northern Gaza Strip and more open pressure on Israel to end the war.

Former Israeli Ambassador to the United States Michael Oren talks to “The Quad” about the moral failure of the Biden administration as it vilifies an ally fighting for the benefit of Western civilization; how Israel can successfully defend itself in the battle of public opinion; and his optimism that the current Israeli generation can change the Jewish state for the better.

“The Quad” (Fleur Hassan-Nahoum, Emily Schrader, Vivian Bercovici and Ashira Solomon) further unpack recent events, including the killing of a top Iranian general in Syria; the continued U.S.-Israeli arguments about an Israeli military operation in Rafah; and Hamas claiming not to know the whereabouts of 40 living hostages. Is there hope for the hostages? Are we seeing the moral and political failure of U.S. policy? Is the reaction to the World Central Kitchen fair?

And, of course, learn the Scumbags and Heroes of the Week!

JNS TV show with Fleur Hassan-Nahoum (deputy mayor of Jerusalem), Emily Schrader (activist and journalist), Ashira Solomon (African-American Jew and political moderator) and Vivian Bercovici (former Canadian ambassador to Israel).
