“For me, it’s the recognition that Jerusalem is the capital of Israel,” said Honduran President Juan Orlando Hernández.
“Today, I have announced the first step, which is to open a trade office in Jerusalem, the capital of the State of Israel, and this will be an extension of our embassy in Tel Aviv,” said Honduran President Juan Orlando Hernández in a statement issued by his government.
Juan Orlando Hernández will be the first foreign head of state to participate in the torch-lighting ceremony at Israel’s annual Independence Day celebration.
