“Having the Southern Poverty Law Center label you, a black woman, as an ‘apologist for white supremacy,’ it sort of makes you like kryptonite for any universities that would be looking to hire you,” Carol Swain told JNS.
Stacy Margaritondo, who embezzled the funds as a synagogue employee, now faces up to 20 years in prison and a fine of $250,000.
“It is critical to prioritize humanitarian considerations and the release of hostages as core components of any renewed dialogue,” Rep. Brad Schneider stated.

“When mainstream media platforms act as PR agents for extremists, they undermine the public’s trust and fuel misinformation,” the watchdog stated.
“Even with a reduced footprint, the U.S. Department of Education is clearly capable of handling antisemitism more effectively than it has in the past,” Kenneth Marcus, chair of the Brandeis Center, told JNS.
“The experiences of the Jewish students at these institutions have been emblematic of what we have seen across the country, and that must change, and it must change now,” the ADL stated.
“These sanctions are being imposed pursuant to President Trump’s maximum pressure campaign to drive Iran’s oil exports, including to China, to zero,” the U.S. State Department stated.
The task is a “formidable” challenge that will “require a lot of teamwork,” said the acting undersecretary of defense for acquisition and sustainment.
“The university’s approach to student conduct necessitates respecting the privacy and integrity of ongoing investigations,” a university spokesperson told JNS.
“In fact, our House investigation found later he actually advised university officials to ‘keep their heads down’ and avoid meeting with Republicans,” the House speaker said of the Senate minority leader.
“Ten places saying they make New York bagels actually make different bagels,” Adam Goldberg, owner of PopUp Bagels, told JNS.
“NGOs that are operating programs don’t see themselves as agents of the U.S. government,” according to Meredith Rothbart, of Amal-Tikva. “That disconnect exists.”
